Only the beauty of Autumn
makes summer's exit tolerable
WeŽll remember how gorgeous, hot and consistent this summer has been for a long, long time. Well, at least till the first snowstorm -- but, wow . . . it reaffirms, yet again, that from the blossoms of early May until the last leaves dance to the earth in late October there is no place on the planet we'd rather be than here!
Seriously.
And what of the real estate market? Great April. Phenomenal May. Great June. It looked like maybe the market had made a furious turn. Then came an okay July. Followed by a fairly good August. Interest rates cried "buy now!" National news stories cried "sky may fall further". Now comes a real defining period. You might not guess this but mid-September until early November is the busiest season for high end sales. Sales and lookers have been more prevalent this summer than in 2006-2009. This autumn will tell a real tale.
